How Do You Define Job Satisfaction?

Intelligent leaders have an elastic limit. They have a level at which they can no longer tolerate average performance and naked mediocrity. They only hope for change when they see certain rays of hope in the horizon that points some efforts in that direction.
But to simply classify an intelligent leader whose tolerance capacity is maxed out and ready to exit the organization as a rebel is not just misleading but an attempt to blackmail such leaders as either uncooperative or simply ungrateful.

Intelligent leaders' gratitude for belonging to an organization transcends being given opportunity to earn "daily bread". Rather it is rooted in the opportunity and ambiance which the organization provides for them to express their creative ability and unleash their innovative capability.  They know they can always get another job that will pay them more than whatever they are being paid in their present workplace but it may also be a place that stifles their creative potential.

Unfortunately, average minds never believe these metrics and parameters which intelligent leaders uphold are worthwhile. They simply celebrate the opportunity to earn wages and maintain status quo in an environment that treats them as numbers or simply robots! They usually see such workplace as paradise and sing the praise of their employers because they're oblivious of the fact that nothing is more insulting to a man's intelligence than to find himself submitting his conscience and convictions to an organizational structure, system, practices and culture which he sure knows are in dis-consonant tunes with his convictions...just because of daily bread! #LeadershipBites #AlfredOladapo #GoGetSkills!
